Optometry is one of the fastest growing and top income-earning professions in the country today and the need for professional vision care services increases daily. Salus University’s four-year  Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) program prepares graduates to become primary healthcare providers who examine, diagnose, treat, and manage vision-related diseases and disorders.

We offer a primary care philosophy and holistic approach that is patient-centered, so our students appreciate the need to not only care for the patient, but also about the patient. Small-group and problem-based learning are emphasized, as are clinical skills and hands-on experience.
